The Bishop of Oswestry is excited to advertise this vacancy in the Diocese of Birmingham: S. Cuthbert Castle Vale with S. George Minworth. Full details are to be found below. This one parish – standing on solid foundations thanks to the ministry of the former Incumbent – is blessed with highly able and committed lay-people who are ready and open for an exciting new phase of evangelization under a dynamic, devout priest.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, as sole Patron, wishes to appoint a full-time stipendiary Incumbent to the benefice of S. Cuthbert of Lindisfarne Castle Vale with St George Minworth in the Diocese of Birmingham. Both churches are under the oversight of the Bishop of Oswestry.
The Parish lies on the Warwickshire border with swift and easy access to both the M6 and M42.
Firm foundations have been laid and the Parish, with one PCC, has excellent lay office holders and a supportive laity as well as a lovely modern Vicarage adjacent to S. Cuthbert’s.
Expressions of interest are invited and requests for further information should be addressed to the Patron’s Representative Mr Andrew Roberts:
